Our Story
Pastor Lacey Norris & Wife Tammy
My family moved from the Quinault Indian Reservation, Washington State, in 1973 to help our pastor, Rev. Stanley Wilt, start a new church plant in Lumberton NC. I was called to ministry at age 7, but it wasn’t until I was 19 years old that I began preaching. My next life journey began in 1992 with my marriage to Tammy Tyler and God blessed us with 2 sons, Camren and Landon. I was youth pastor at that time of a thriving youth group. After 14 years of this ministry I transitioned to associate pastor of this vibrant growing apostolic church. In 2016 God opened a promising new chapter at Cathedral of Praise Elizabethtown NC. In 2017 I became pastor and felt God direct us to our new name, LifeChurch. We have seen this small fledgling body of believers grow to a thriving, anointed apostolic church. During my ministry I have had the privilege of going abroad to share the gospel message of hope. It is an on going passion to be used of God wherever He desires. Our family has ministered several times in the Philippines and our church is a continual supporter of missionaries all over the world. In 2024 I became a member of the Global Harvest Crusade Team under the leadership of Rev. Charles Robinette. I have now been in ministry for 35 years and can say with assurance that God has orchestrated our every move and placed us strategically for the Endtime harvest of souls for His Kingdom!
